The Island is the location for many bike meetings and events as well as the Isle of Man TT Race meeting and the quieter Manx Grand Prix.

The Isle of Man operates many diving schools and has some of the best diving sites in Europe. Its waters are teeming with sea life and you can enjoy boating trips and Basking Shark observation trips when they congregate there in the summer months.

Douglas, the island's capital, is on the eastern side and it is from here that you can catch the steam train to Port Erin on the south of the island.
